CHRIS CAREY, P.G.
MANAGING PARTNER/GEOLOGIST
Chris is a professional geologist who works with our clients to develop regulatory strategies and manages complex environmental projects. Before founding ppB, he served as Remedial Section Chief for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, where he oversaw development and implementation of various state environmental response programs and served as the State of Kansas' vapor intrusion practice lead. Chris has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kansas.
RYAN WEISER, P.G.
PARTNER/HYDROGEOLOGIST
Ryan is a professional geologist who leads our due diligence projects and uses his expertise to guide complicated field projects. Before founding ppB, he served as the Site Remediation Unit Chief and Brownfields Coordinator for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. He also worked as a field geologist and GeoProbe™ operator. Ryan is certified to perform asbestos assessments in Kansas and Missouri. Ryan has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Fort Hays State University.
DANIEL NEWMAN, P.G.
PARTNER/SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Daniel is a professional geologist and senior project manager leading many of PPB's most complicated permitting and remediation projects. Before ppB, Daniel served as the Site Remediation Unit Chief for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Daniel has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Geology, and a minor in General Business from Northwest Missouri State University.
Sarah is the Office Manager with prior environmental and consulting experience. Before ppB, she served as the Location Lead for another consulting firm. Sarah has several years of experience in leadership, training, and office administration and has her SHRM-CP certification.
CHARLOTTE PHILIP
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Charlotte is a senior project manager with a strong background in the environmental and regulatory field. Prior to ppB, she served as a geologist and environmental scientist for the Remedial Section of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Certificate Unit Supervisor for the Division of Water Resources, Kansas Department of Agriculture. Charlotte has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology and a Master of Science Degree in Geology from Kansas State University.
TY ERICKSON
PERMITTING SPECIALIST
Ty is a permitting specialist with several years of environmental and regulatory experience. Before ppB, she served as an Environmental Compliance and Regulatory Specialist and Certificate Unit Supervisor for the Division of Water Resources, Kansas Department of Agriculture. Ty has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology, a Secondary Degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences, and a Master of Science Degree in Geology, all from Kansas State University.
MAYRIA BECKER
WILDLIFE BIOLOGIST
Mayria is a wildlife biologist for PPB and oversees our habitat assessments and wetlands assessments. She also supports PPB's permitting and due diligence work. Mayria graduated from Washburn University with a bachelor's in biology and minor in chemistry. Mayria has a strong background in environmental remediation and project management.
KARA SILL
GIS ANALYST
Kara is a GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Analyst with past environmental and consulting experience. Kara attended Fort Hays State University where she received her certificate in GIS with an emphasis in Geography, Bachelor of Science in Geosciences, and Master of Science in Geography. She is also Part 107 UAS Remote Pilot Licensed with the FAA.
DOUG DOUBEK, P.G.
FIELD GEOLOGIST
Doug is a professional Kansas geologist with several years of environmental experience and provides excellent field support to clients. Before ppB, he served as the Southwestern Kansas District Geologist for KDHE and has held various other administrative positions in state government. Doug has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Fort Hays State University.
JEFF JANZEN
PROJECT MANAGER
Jeff is a project manager who has been involved in many aspects of various environmental projects. Before joining PPB, he served as the statewide Spill Coordinator for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, and he has also worked as a remedial and due diligence consultant in the private sector. Jeff has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Kansas State University.
BRANDON GRIFFIN
ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST
Brandon is an environmental scientist with a mixed background of experience including environmental field work, remediation, reporting and permitting. Brandon attended Texas A&M University-Commerce where he received his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. Brandon has worked in several commercial sectors including hazardous waste management, emergency response and remediation, and power generation. He is a certified asbestos inspector in both Kansas and Missouri.
